AREAS FOR COLLABORATION Programme Planning Monitoring and Evaluation decisions Implementation arrangements Budgeting Programme evaluations Coordination

PROGRAMME PLANNING and M&E Agree on the programme model and theory of change. Same across PRs. Agree on implementation areas – complicated when more than one PR. Shared capacity building efforts. Agree on details linked to the indicators – what will be counted, what constitutes reach, how often, method of determining targets. Communication Example of YW&Gs – 4 big elements of the programme and all had to implement them. Want to explore how a PR could become a service provider for other PRs – our Training Institute CB: Also ito grant management – NACOSA orientated other PRs ito risk management

IMPL. ARRANGEMENTS & BUDGETING Agree on who implements where – elements of programme or region focus? Agree on links and information flow between stakeholders and PRs Costing of specific actions, similar unit costs Negotiations on shared costs, ie for programme evaluation HR costings can be complicated Risk of double funding – some SRs may be funded by more than 1 PR Communication

COORDINATION Quarterly PR meetings The CSS PR collates data and reports on all the PR programmes to the provincial AIDS Council CCM Oversight Committee arranges learning meetings where PRs give feedback on programmes and talk about their successes and challenges SANAC role – linking NSP and CSO sectors to PRs Communication
