Weekly Routines Monday: Silent Read and Software Tuesday: Study Skills and Software Wednesday: Silent Read and Software Thursday: Study Skills and Software Friday: Possible Free Time Day if Earned
Software procedures Requirement is at least 15 minutes a day (M-Th) 60 minutes a week/ 3 activities a week Comprehension, Vocabulary, Word Fluency Spelling, Context Passage, Recording, Writing Free time on Friday if you get this amount For every 10 minutes you go over, you can leave 1 minute early! (max: 3 minutes early)
Study Skills 101 Procedures Tuesdays and Thursdays will focus on developing skills to use in other classes. Objective: to make it easier to succeed in classes like science and world history. 20-30 minutes 15 Participation Points Will involve taking notes, working in small groups, developing projects, watching video clips, journal responses, etc.
Silent Reading Procedures You will silently read for 20 minutes every “Reading Day” (usually Mondays and Wednesdays) You will fill out a Reading Log. You will complete activities dealing with your book. You will complete a quiz over your book. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v =xqMozc4K4pg
