Learning Objective: Daily practice of basic watercolor techniques on student created water color worksheet. How to create contour line drawings. Apply basic water color techniques to a contour line drawing self-portrait. Create a liquid like atmosphere in your portrait.

Classwork: Stained glass window drawing (solid wash :45-4:40)

Classwork: Trees (wet on wet 1:40-4:26)

Classwork: Abstract with Resist (texture)

Classwork: Primitive animals with fat bodies and attenuated legs (blooms and drips).

Classwork: Contour line drawing with water color highlights (glazing)

Final Project: Water self portrait

Final Project: Write out a memory of a time you were out in a rainstorm and use as inspiration for a self portrait. Use 3 water color techniques in self portrait showing you in a scene involving rain or water.
