Presentation transcript:

Presentations-Level 1 By Eddie Williamson

introduction My name is Edward Vincent Williamson and these are examples of the photos I took using the rule of third and leading line. I like to show that some objects I take have meaning, like a man about to throw a ball to his dog while having a great landscape, by using the rule of thirds and leading line.

Photographers I researched David Taylor He is an absolute genius in shots with great use of the rule of thirds in beautiful nature. Chema Madoz He makes clever use of objects he finds and uses them to become something else

The Theme nature Admittedly there are other things that I am equally or more passionate about, bit I enjoy looking at and admiring the beauty in the world and I mostly look at it when I’m on the bus. I also like to go to a field that is not far from my house, which is where I took the photos for this project.

Mind map A picture on the phone like the field but it all grey as the field itself is still green behind it Shot angle: high with a close up A bridge where the dog is at the field and his owner is at the road Shot angle: high A simple image of a person and the dog Shot angle: normal eye Some one walk away from the field and as his green jacket turn brown Shot angle: normal eye with a XLS size shot A stream of water at the bottom and the field at the top Shot angle: worm eye Nature A ball launcher and a ball lay on the field with the dog sniffing it Shot angle: Bird eye A landscape of the field it self A broken flower is out side the field Shot angle: low

Plan list of photo photo Shot type A simple image of a person and the dog Shot angle: wide shot A stream of water at the bottom and the field at the top Shot angle: low angle A street Shot angle: wide angle A landscape of the field it self Shot angle: long shot A bridge where the dog is at the field and his owner is at the road

Mood board These images give me a sense of isolation or just simply walking through a big empty road. I mostly look at the world around me and notice some interesting things, I do like to show some clever use of shots that I discover, and even though they are not in the photo I made I enjoy some that are only black and white as some can give a sense of atmosphere to it.

Example of rule of thirds

The best 3 photographs

The best 3 photographs

The big 3 photographs

Justification on why they are the best photograph I love these three because they take great use of the rule of third like the second photo position the shoe below. Also while the field is at the top, and the 1st photo where the wooden pole is at the left. The use of leading lines like in the third photo with the hedge, and an arrow with the path in the1st photo
