What Is AlcOHOl? A type of drug that changes a person’s behaviour/attitude It doesn’t have a smell or colour It doesn’t provide any type of nutrient for our body It is found in drinks such as beer or wine

Facts about Alcohol Alcohol kills 1 person every 10 seconds Brain cells react to alcohol in 6 mins Alcohol doesn’t get digested. Instead, it goes right into the bloodstream 48% of Earth’s population who are older than 15 years say they haven’t been drinking alcohol People with blue eyes have a higher resistance of alcohol When you avoid drinking alcohol, you prevent over 30% of cancer

Reasons Why People Drink Alcohol People say that they drink alcohol because……. It helps them handle their problem(s) It makes them happy It helps them to have a good time They think it’s cool It keeps them warm Their friends also drink it

How You Can Avoid/Stop drinking alcohol/solutions Try to avoid thinking about alcohol. If you’re having a hard time with it, ask a friend or a family member. They are sure to help you! If you keep either alcohol or drinks containing alcohol at home, throw them out, since you will not be needing them anymore If any personal problems come your way, talk to people who you can really trust such as your close friends or family members instead of drinking alcohol right away. Close friends/family members are sure to help and support you in whatever problem/situation you’re going through Eat healthier foods such as fruits or vegetables to have a more healthier body and a healthier lifestyle
