Lessons Learned Put the patient first. Welcome stakeholder participation to maximize their investment. Complement national efforts with community-based activity. Identify a community’s strengths and focus there. Be flexible and inclusive. Give those who can help the tools they want and need to spread your message. Include a campaign component that will live on.
