The bible was written to every person. As I study the bible, I can clearly see that each person will be judged individually. The judgment will be fair based on several criteria the bible clearly points out. Some of the criteria are the same for all, but some are different based on what is revealed in the bible.

My Personal Judgment

QUESTIONS How will I be judged? What are the criteria God uses to judge? Will all be judged by the same criteria? Can I be assured of my salvation? What allows God to save if all have sinned?

Judgment is sure. No one will escape the judgment of God. Some may be safe based on their lack of ability to understand and obey. All others will be judged based on their works. Works that “God before ordained that we should walk in them” according to Ephesians 2:10. It is a very personal judgment by a loving God who “is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) God has extended His grace to all. It is up to us to have the faith to obey His every command for our good.

Even though we are constantly around other people, we must personally have a relationship based on the word of God. It is a personal journey. Christ is our Brother, our Savior, our Friend, our Advocate and our Mediator. How can we not feel the closeness? We can only have this relationship if we do His will. Have you obeyed Him, because one day He will be our Judge?
