Interview- Multiple Mini-Interview (MMI) The MMI is similar to other interview formats in that you will have the opportunity to talk with a series of interviewers, one on one, and discuss a variety of issues. However, the MMI is different in that each student will rotate through a series of ‘stations’, where, at most stations, a candidate is expected to read over a scenario and discuss it with an interviewer for a short period of time. At other stations you may be asked to discuss your personal professional background. All stations are meant to be thought provoking and focus on issues of concern to the dental profession and society.

Interview Questions (www.studentdoctor.net for more questions) What is one part of your application that you would like to highlight for the admissions committee? Have you encountered an unethical situation? Should students evaluate each others work to learn how to evaluate their own work in the future when they are out in the field? What skills do I possess that would make me a good dentist? Do you think mid-level providers can provide the same level of service as a dentist? What manual dexterity skills do you have? There is a 20-minute saliva test that checks for HIV. Millions of patients don't know they are at risk for HIV contraction. Should dentists offer this service? Scenario about insurance companies getting your information somewhat "illegally" before you even apply for their insurance so they can create a "risk" factor for you, that way they can rank you and decide whether to deny you coverage or not?
