Battle San Jaconto The battle of San Jaconto was won by the Texans .Santa finally gave Texas their independence . But when Santa got released he told Mexico that they still own Texas .

Independence of Texas Texas had some problems like: Mexico did not believe that Texas got independence .Native American’s land being taken from them . So they are fright for it . And to re-new the government .

Sam Houston 1st president of Texas When the election was made Sam Houston became president of Texas . Mirabeau b. Lamar was the first vice president of Texas . And Stephen f. Austin as secretary ,but not for every long Stephen died on December 27, 1836 at the age of 43
