2017 Chili Cook-Off Saturday November 4th CITY OF HOSCHTON 2017 Chili Cook-Off Saturday November 4th Do you think your chili is the best? Registration Form $25 per team (Checks, cash, credit card) Contact Person: ____________________ Phone: ________________________ E-Mail: ___________________________ Name of Chili Team: ___________________ Does your chili have meat? YES NO Does your chili have beans? YES NO How hot is your chili? Mild Medium Hot Flammable! General Rules: The Chili Cook-off will be held at 79 City Square, Hoschton from 8am (Set-up) – 5pm (Awards) See Flyer for schedule Chili is defined as any kind of spicy, stew-like dish cooked with chili peppers, meat (optional) and/or beans (optional). Various other spices and ingredients may be added with the exception of rice or pasta. Beans may be used. Chili must be cooked at the event. Check-in and set-up for the event will start at 8am. Your teams chili should be ready for judging at 2pm. Chili should be kept hot, preferably by electric crockpots or similar means. Electric connections will be provided. Awards: “Grand Champion” –There will be 6 judges (These are not professionals). “People’s Choice ” will be calculated by the most tickets in the teams jar (Each team will provide their own jar) “Mayor’s Choice” – Our Own Mayor will decide her favorite Chili “Best Decorated Area” – Two undercover judges will walk around to find the best one! “Best Chili Name” – Do you have a name for your chili that stands out among all the others?
