Asthma Case Review Sub-optimal care NHSE SIRI 27.10.16 Tabitha Griffin Named Nurse Safeguarding in Primary Care

Asthma management Advanced practice models that incorporate community-based approaches and services for childhood asthma are needed. Innovative, community-included methods of care to address the burden of childhood asthma may provide examples for care of other chronic diseases. (Rosenthal 2012) Asthma control is essential. By identifying barriers to care, health care providers can build an action care plan to individualize each patient's needs. (Trent et al 2015) Safeguarding needs to be embedded as a core foundation into every aspect of patient care neglect may involve a parent or carer failing to: ensure access to appropriate medical care or treatment. (RCGP 2014)
