Transforming teaching and learning 60 ipads purchased 30 hdmi connectors for device portability 4 Apple training days (January to June) Learning Technologist training sessions NearPod training by internal academic L Tech – group and one to one training
strengths Responsive, credible technology Portability Adjustable for inclusivity Not expensive Creates learning communities in class using technology No where to hide!
Weaknesses Apple product – ‘buy in’ Not always compatible Connectivity difficult in large groups Need external trainers Not everyone has an iPad Different generation iPads have a different visual experience for the user
