Location of Colombia The neighboring countries of Colombia are Panama, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil.

Geographic Features Some of Colombia’s greatest features are the Andes Mountains. This is the tallest mountain in the Andres Mountains of Sierra Santa Marta This is the Amazononian Forest, which locates through Colombia

Climate The climate of Colombia is cooler in the Highlands Tropical for the coaster and eastern border of Colombia.

Environment of Colombia In Colombia, there is this Colombian Spider monkey. The tail of this monkey is flexible. The tail and legs are extremely long for their body. They eat on fruits, leaves, and insects.

History Somewhere around 1525 the Spanish took over Colombia. Then 1810 people of Colombia revolted, and the rebellion was successful in 1819 In 1886 Colombia finally became the District of Colombia

Customs and Traditions In southern Colombia, there is this carnival called the Black and Whites Carnival. It celebrates the African American slaves when they had a day to actually be happy.

Museums of Colombia Archeological Museum of Pasca located at Pasca, Colombia has many objects. Like a famous golden boat( Balsa Muisca), and chibchan mummies.

Monuments of Colombia Villa de Leyva is a colonial monument located at Tunya, Boyacá. The city of Pereira is the capital city of Colombian’s Department of Risaralda. It is known for great tourists places. Battle of Boyacá was a place where a battle between Colombians and the British happened.

Origin of the name Colombia The name Colombia was in honor of Christopher Colombus

The Money of Colombia The money of Colombia are called pesos.

The People of Colombia There are about 44 million people living in Colombia. The top 3 cultures living in Colombia are Amerindians, European immigrants, and Germans and Russians mixed.

The Transportation of Colombia Highways for cars are part of the transportation. Waterways, Railways, and airports.

Tourism Tourists are likely to go to places where the shopping is good, weather is nice, and a nice neighborhood. Where the view is nice, or like an amusement park. Colombia are known for its many floors of malls
