Click on the PDR & Recruitment login link

Login using your OneID and password.

Click on ‘Open’ in the ‘Team Performance Reviews’ box.

Click the ‘Performance plan’ and ‘Development plan’ tabs to navigate back and forth. Click the ‘Start’ tab for detailed instructions and examples. 1. Write or review up to five objectives with relevant indicators and target dates as discussed with your staff member. Refer to page 9 for examples of objectives and indicators. 2. Click ‘Upload document’ if you wish to attach one. Meet with your staff member to discuss and agree on the plans. You and your staff member can both see and make changes to the plans. Ensure a standard health and safety objective is included (refer to page 10). Any changes you make will automatically save. 3. Click ‘Add objective’ to write additional objectives, indicators and target dates. 4. Click ‘Next’ to go to the development plan.

Meet with your staff member to discuss and agree on the plans. Review the developmental goals and activities. Refer to page 11 for examples of goals and activities. Click ‘Next’ to go to the Sign off page.

Hold the cursor over your name and click ‘Log out’ to exit the system. Click ‘Print report’ if you would like to print the plans. Your staff member needs to sign off the plans before he or she can move to the ‘Progress’ stage. When you’re ready, click ‘Sign off’.

Click the Start tab at any time for instructions and examples.

Examples of objectives and indicators Provide a high level of service and support to students, staff and other key clients. Queries and requests from clients are actioned and followed up in a professional, responsive and timely manner. Issues are identified and raised appropriately and in a timely manner. Feedback from clients indicates the service and support met their needs and expectations. OR Feedback from clients indicates the service and support was efficient and relevant. Review, evaluate and improve the application process for professional staff grants. All materials (including the application form, information pack for the committee, website and process map) are reviewed and updated. Applications received are complete, indicating staff understand the new process and application form. Feedback from committee members indicates the updated form makes it easier for them to compare and make decisions about applications. Design, develop and implement a mentoring program for managers. Project plan is developed and implemented according to agreed timeframes. Program materials are developed and delivered within agreed timeframes. Feedback from key stakeholders indicates they were informed and consulted on the development and implementation of the program. Feedback from participants indicates the program helped them develop and improve their skills as a manager. For more information, please contact your HR Client Relationships representative. What safety objective do I need to include? Copy and paste the relevant performance objective and indicators into your plan: Level Performance objective Performance indicator Professional & Academic Staff Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment. Relevant health and safety online modules and/or training are completed. The University’s health and safety policies and procedures are consistently complied with. Managers & Supervisors Foster a safe and healthy working environment. Health and safety risks within the local work area identified and addressed. Staff noncompliance with or knowledge gaps relating to the University’s health and safety policies and procedures is identified and addressed. Local health and safety plans are developed and implemented. Senior Management & Executive Foster a safe and healthy working environment across <relevant portfolio>. Health and safety risks across <relevant portfolio> are identified and addressed. Portfolio-wide health and safety plans are developed and implemented. Examples of development goals and activities Development activity Improve project management skills Write and get feedback on a project plan for improving our team’s administrative processes. Work as part of the project team for the upgrade of the system. Attend the Managing Projects workshop. Increase knowledge of health and safety legislation Review the Health and Safety website. Identify and recommend ways to address potential hazards within the office. View recent incident reports to understand what actions have been taken. How do I access or copy last year’s objectives? 1. Click on ‘My Team’ 2. Click on ‘Performance reviews’ 3. Select ‘Complete’ from the drop down menu. 4. Select ‘Search’ 5. Select ‘Print report’ from the ‘I want to…’ drop down menu to view last year’s objectives
