What do we do? Advise Ministers and stakeholders on CLD issues and policy lead areas Support the CLD sector to build capacity to embed policy in practice and drive improvement Lead and strengthen the development of CLD policy nationally

What does that mean? Policy lead for Scottish Government on: Community Learning and Development Adult Literacy (ALIS 2020) ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Adult Learning Youth Work Within Education Scotland Directorate C – Lifelong Learning

Support to the sector through: Developing policy Providing training and resources Engaging with the sector through creative conversations and national discussions Creating case studies of innovative practice Innovation and Improvement Fund Working with Strategic Funding Partnerships (21) Joint work with Scottish Government colleagues on policy across government
