A Brief History of Playing Cards Playing card as we know them were invented around 1370 c.e. These were luxury items that were created by local artist for the local elite

Historic Designs:

Elements to Playing Cards Suites are the groups of cards that are then numbered, for example there are 13 card in the suite of heart 2-10 jack, queen, king and ace These are early example of different suites

More elements of cards Pips: Pips are the individual suite symbol in the playing card area such as the six different ♥ 6 of hearts The pips in the 3 of spades are disguised as lizard heads, while the image is three lizards on the ground find the other pips in the other cards These card are examples of transformation cards because the pip is disguised in within the image
