Self assessment tool Development of the assessment tool 1. Selection of the workers profiles 2. Allocating the set of skills according to each profile 3. Defining the set of questions to assess the knowledge and competences of each skill 4. Score each question on a scale 0 – 0.5 - 1 5. Calculate the total score of the skill as a sum of all questions 6. Set the threshold scores for each skill 7. Assess the knowledge and competences for each skill by comparing the total score with the threshold values

Self assessment tool Set of skills The questionnaire will select the skills depending on the profile of the worker or future worker is testing for. Example: quality and environment department Skills to be assessed 4. Ability to use design as part of firm's strategy 5. Ability to use R&D as part of firm's strategy 7. Manage and plan the production (incl. QMS, lean management, ergonomics etc.) 11. Ability to use IT tools 15. Branding/Marketing of European tradition --> Selling European quality 19. Controlling (including cost efficiency) 20. Team work skills 21. Environmental awareness; applying the enviromental and sustainability concepts (incl. ecological concepts in the design of products and eco- and 'zero waste' design)

Before making new investments in the company, do you analyze the results of other research projects carried out?

Online on the FUNES portal Self assessment tool Online on the FUNES portal Via the tool workers and future workers can assess online their knowledge and competences for a specific job profile. The tool will identify whether knowledge need to be updated or not for each of the required skills linked to the job profile. FUNES project will develop the e-learning training materials to update knowledge and competences for the skills identified in the project The online tool will be available at: http://www.funesproject.eu/skills/

INTELLECTUAL OUTPUT Development of the training course March 2017 Definition of learning objectives, according to new defined sectoral and specifies competencies that will be required for current and future workers considering the European levels learning Creating training modules, related with the defined competencies Learning outcomes and the training content will be developed for a e-learning environment Elaboration of training contents Translation of the training course and units, every partner translate de contents a their language Implementation of the training materials in online e-learning platform (Moodle) Transnational meeting to evaluate the training materials in Moodle platform

INTELLECTUAL OUTPOUTS Experimental pilot testing - May 2017 Following policy recommendations/guidelines a pilot course will be conducted to evaluate the developed training material. Implementation of a pilot course in every partner institution Evaluation of training course, preparation and compilation of the evaluations in each institution

INTELLECTUAL OUTPUTS Pilot testing evaluation July 2017 Open on-line course based on the analysis of the results obtained during the implementation of the course in each partner country. Pilot testing evaluation, compiling the results of pilot test and drafting a document with the results Elaboration of a report with the results of the project, to inform EU furniture sector and stakeholders about the new skills and the kind of course or activities needed for workers or future workers to obtain the new skills identified in the project Elaboration of a briefing report including the results of all questionnaires and training courses tests
