Planting Science Research Project Marion Jr./Sr. High School Science 7 Team Name: BEASTI FROGS Presentation by: Jared Deighton

Our research question was: do different elevations effect plants growth We chose our question because… we agreed that we should do this one because it was a question we wanted to figure out

We predicted that… no there'd be no difference I believed this would be true because… I’ve seen plants on hills and under hills and I didn’t see much of a difference so I figured there wouldn’t be a difference

Experimental Design What is the variable you are testing? Do different elevations effect plants growth? Briefly describe your experimental and control group. Take 3 cups with 3 seeds and put one high one low and one medium Describe what you did to make this a fair test. We put thermometers to make shure they where the same temp. and tried to put the seeds at the same spot

Our conclusion: They all grew on a average of 0.5-1 inches so there really was no difference

My Evaluation: Describe one or two specific errors that you feel your group made. Communication or people not doing stuff and not enough time to let them develop What would you do differently if you were to do your investigation over? Use different seeds and put them in the same place
