Eminem Eminem's website is a very easy website to use. It is easy to use because it has clear subheadings and links to take you to different places like shopping for his music and clothing. It shows you how you can sign up to the website, there’s links for events and how you can see some videos. The representation for this website is very clear. Because when you first go onto the website there is a big picture of Eminem in the middle of the page. Another way in which he is represented on the website Is his name is big and bold in the top left corner. The color's and the font are very consistent and easy to read which suggests that he wants his audience to not have trouble finding things. The music genre that he represents is hip hop. Which is rap music and he Is one of the most popular hip hop artist. I think if Eminem made his website easier to interact with him his website would be much better because when you interact it makes it the website a whole lot more entertaining . He should make it easier to interact through social media because when you have a big audience on social media it means his website could be used more and the stuff on his website can be more exciting because there are more things to do. I think he didn't’t have much social media stuff on his website because he’s trying to promote his music and his clothing line not trying to gain followers on social media. This website represents Eminem well because he doesn't’t like to be in the public eye that much but there is a part of the website which makes it look like CCTV so its kind of bring us into his life.,

Kano This website represents the Kano because as soon as you go onto the website there is a video playing in the background of the Kano’s music video. Which represents him well because if someone who didn't’t know what he did went on to his website they would know straight away that he is a rapper. The music genre that represents his music is called grime. When you go onto the website there is an advertisement of keno's album cover and it says its out now. This is a form of representation because his music is a is art and your art is your own personal reflection of you. On Kano's website his name is written in big bold letters so his name stands out which will help stick into peoples minds and they wont forget who he is.

Kings of Leon This website is workable as all the pages and thumbnails are fictional. It is also fictional as it has different animated themes consisting paint as the band’s faces imprinted in paint, dolls and flowers. The use of colour is convenient as the colour blue is used in different shades. As the paint used is of baby blue pigment. Whereas the band’s eye colour is a darker shade. There is not much use of symbols as this website is very dull and consistent. Although it’s symbols may have an association with eyes as on the tours page, there are a pair of at the bottom of the page. There may also be a candy-Like theme as the eyeballs are wrapped sweetie wrappers.

Coldplay The Spinning logo in the middle of the website represents the bands recent album logo and also the spinning colors help point out the many different icons scattered around the webpage. The many different icons scattered across the page give the audience a very science fiction feel page also the bands genre which is alternative. The symbol in the middle of the webpage is the flower of life, it is considered to have a deep spiritual meaning and apparently gives enlightenment to those who have studied sacred geometry. This website is very interactive because there are videos for people to watch and the videos are all over the place. So if you want to see a specific video you don’t have to watch videos in order.

Dave Matthews The website consist of their large logo, which conveys dominance as it stands out in comparison to their other photos. The promotions/ tours page represents their genre of music as there are images of the band playing their instruments .The wording for the logo has changed in comparison to their original logo although their traditional logo has been recycled. The use of colour in this website is fairly bland as it only consists of three colours throughout the 10 pages. These colours are grey, red and white. There is a various amount of promotions on the stores page, such as their shop merchandise music, posters, clothing, DVDs. Which help the website be more affective because the fans can go on the website to find whatever they want on the website with no problems.

Taylor swift Taylor swift’s website is a very bright. There are pictures of her which represents her because so if someone doesn’t know what she looks like and but has heard her music when they come on her website knows straight away that its her. Her webpage is been promoted as if she is a new artist. Because there are a lot of pictures of her and her name is all over the website. From the website I'm getting the feeling that this artist likes to be in the public eye from looking at the pictures. She is modeling herself to show her fans her work and get new fans.

Beyoncé This website is consists of various images which represents the artist. I say this because when you go on the website all you see is pictures of the artist showing off different perspectives of the artist. Showing the different sides to the artist personality. She is sharing things that are happening in her life and she shares it with her audience. She looks like the type of artist who doesn't’t like to be in the public eye but from her website she brings people in to her world and shows them what she's about.
