How can we help you? Support with your building project Identify and manage risk Advise on suitable grants and trusts Give initial advice on developing parish projects Help you connect with developers and partners Advise you on next steps Advice available on the Developing Parishes section of the Diocesan website

Title Reports Some support and guidance is available to parishes for title reports Identify who owns the property and land Nathan Whitehead, Michael Minta or Catherine Forsyth can help

Funding for Feasibility Studies Each year the Mission & Pastoral Committee have a small pot of money to give out to parishes for building development The money available is based on the proportion of listed buildings in each area Request an application form from Nathan Whitehead Complete and send back with the support of your Area Dean and Archdeacon You can apply 3 times a year in March, June or November It can be completed by a Churchwarden, incumbent, PCC member or project consultant – ideally a team effort

Building Development Advice If your parish would like to discuss development ideas and guidance, our team at the Development Directorate can help Contact Michael Minta and the team will arrange to come and visit the parish We are here to support your parish for the duration of the project

Loans A parish can apply for a loan through the DBF This could be for a large scale project or a specific item e.g. fixing a boiler Ability to pay Parish Share is taken into account Application Forms can be obtained from the Finance Office

Parish Giving Scheme The Parish Giving Scheme could be suitable for your parish as a means of getting ordinary finances boosted ahead of a building project
