Artemis By Alex Gerchen

Greek name- Artemis, means “high source of water.” Greek and Roman name Greek name- Artemis, means “high source of water.” Roman name- Diana, means “many breasted one” means goddess of nurturing, and birth.

Family - Daughter of Zeus and Leto - Twin, Apollo - Artemis was never married

Artemis was the goddess of wilderness, childbirth, virginity, protector of young girls and bringer and reliever of sudden death and diseases. The deer and Cypress were very sacred to Artemis.
