Software Session Introduction Agenda: Introduction Accelerator Physics Tools (Chris) GRID Status (Malcolm) Break Database (David) Database Discussion (Everyone) Preparation for the Review (Malcolm) Discussion (joint with beamline group) M. Ellis - CM20 - 10th February 2008

M. Ellis - CM20 - 10th February 2008 G4MICE Status Main issues at the moment are unpacking real data and online database. I have more recent code and sample output files from JSG for the DATE DAQ system, but have yet to do any serious work with them. Last week wrote code to unpack the new format of the tracker data. M. Ellis - CM20 - 10th February 2008

M. Ellis - CM20 - 10th February 2008 C++ / G4MICE Course I will be running two courses which will combine a basic intro to C++ with use of G4MICE. The first course will be run at Fermilab in March immediately before the NFMCC meeting. The second will be held in the UK (most likely at RAL) at a date to be determined. M. Ellis - CM20 - 10th February 2008
