Prepositional Phrases Includes a preposition, object of preposition, and any modifiers of that object. DO NOT confuse a prepositional phrase beginning with to – to you or to home – with an infinitive, such as to be or to remind. Prepositional Phrases Examples: Mrs. Lowrance ran from the insane clown. (the noun clown is the object of the preposition from) The clown with the red balloon stalked quickly away. (the noun balloon is the object of the preposition with)
