Requesting Your Accommodation Notification Letters Each Semester You'll now be able to request and generate your own Accommodation Notification Letters each semester by using myAccess.

You will be asked to login using your MU Pawprint and password Log In to myAccess… To access your account go to the Disability Center’s website; disabilitycenter.missouri.edu and click on the “myAccess” button. You will be asked to login using your MU Pawprint and password

Required Forms… If it is your first time logging into myAccess for the current semester, you will be required to read and electronically sign any required forms that the Disability Center has pertaining to specific accommodations. All students will be required to sign the Accommodation Responsibilities Checklist. If you have certain types of accommodations, you will be required to read and sign individual forms that have information pertaining to those. Examples include: Exam Accommodations Alternative Textbook Formats Note-Taking Assistance Click on any of the forms that are required and the contents for each form will populate for you to review and sign.

Required Forms… Once you have read and understood the contents for each form you will sign the consent at the bottom of the page by typing in your name as it appears under the signature line. Click “Submit Form” and you will then be taken to your myAccess account.

Requesting Your Accommodations… Each time you login to myAccess, you will see your “To Do List” displayed in a light yellow box. If you have not yet made any accommodation requests for the current semester it will say “No Accommodation Requests Found” This means you need to choose the courses in which you want to use your accommodations. Your courses will be listed under the “List Accommodations” section. This list is based on the courses in which you are currently enrolled.

Requesting Your Accommodations (cont’d)… Choose the courses where you know you want to use your accommodations by clicking the box next to each course listed. Click “Step 2 – Continue to Customize Your Accommodations”

Requesting Your Accommodations… Click on the box next to the accommodation that you want to use for each course. Once the accommodations are chosen, click “Submit Your Accommodation Request”

Requesting Your Accommodations (cont’d)… You will be taken back to the list of your courses and it will show as “[Requested]” You will be able to generate your Accommodation Letters immediately unless you have approved accommodations that require explicit approval.

Generating Your Accommodation Notification Letters… To generate your Accommodation Notification Letters: On the “My Dashboard” section you’ll see a box that says “Printing Faculty Notification Letter in PDF”. From the drop down menu, choose which course you want to generate the letter for. Click “Generate PDF” Course List

Generating Your Accommodation Notification Letters… The Accommodation Notification Letters will generate and download to your computer/laptop. You will be able to open and save them to your computer to print and give to instructors when you meet with them one-on-one to discuss your accommodations. When using the browser “Chrome”, the letters will download and show up at the bottom of your computer screen as shown below.

Your Accommodation Notification Letters will look similar to this example letter below.

You will get an email close to the start of each term informing you that your accommodations are available to request. The process is the same each semester. If you have any questions about renewing your accommodations and/or making requests please contact the Disability Center. (573) 882-4696 disabilitycenter@missouri.edu
