Innovate UK is the new name for the Technology Strategy Board - we are the UK's innovation agency, accelerating economic growth. We know that taking a new idea to market is a challenge. We fund, support and connect innovative businesses through a unique mix of people and programmes to accelerate sustainable economic growth. KTP is a world-leading programme that helps businesses succeed by connecting them to the UK's rich academic resources. It's a partnership between the business seeking expertise, a university/college and a recently qualified graduate – known as an Associate. Companies can benefit from up to 67% Government Grant. The North of Scotland KTP Centre provides assistance and guidance in completing KTP application forms, provides secretarial/administration support once the project has been awarded. To date the Centre has helped and successfully managed more than 200 KTP projects and has a 95% success rate in getting applications approved. KTN, the Knowledge Transfer Network connects people to speed up innovation, solve problems and find markets for new ideas. Established to foster better collaboration between science, creativity and business, KTN has specialist teams covering all sectors of the economy – from defence and aerospace to the creative industries, the built environment to biotechnology and robotics. Interface, the knowledge connection for business. The Interface Vision is to stimulate a business community that is committed to accessing the research and knowledge capability and expertise of Scottish Universities and Research institutions. To encourage an academic community that is well placed to respond to the requirements of companies and commercial organisations both large and small for knowledge and expertise. http://www.ktp-link.co.uk Find us on twitter : @NofScotland_KTP
