Title Should be concise and descriptive Pricks the reader’s interest Predisposes him/her favorably towards the proposal

Abstract A brief summary about 300 words Should include: The research question The rationale for the study The hypothesis The method The main findings

Introduction Provides the necessary background or context for your research problem. Begins with a general statement of the problem, focus on a specific research problem

Literature Review Not "reinventing the wheel” Show your ability Indicate your ability Give credits-have laid the groundwork for your research Provide a new model Convince the reader Demonstrate

Methods How you plan to tackle your research problem It should be Contain sufficient information The most appropriate and valid way
