Introduction My topic that I will be talking about is the wireless LAN, I chose this topic because in this generation everyone uses wireless LAN. A wireless local area network which is (WLAN) it links two or more devices throughout some signals that comes from a router to the computer.

Methodology By using the internet to find types of LAN's and knowing how it started By using some of the catalogues of the wireless LAN'S to know some information about it and what it consists of. By going to companies such as (STC, ZAIN, MOBILY) to ask them how do they install it and what do they need for it.

Literature review Is to identify the ways of WLAN installation, system and how to use the WLAN. The study would show the people the information of WLAN and how it is used and what are the types of it.

Difference between WLAN & WI-FI WLAN OR LAN is a network of computers over distance of a few hundred feet that uses high frequency radio signals to transmits & receive data. A WI-FI is a ready device effectively means that it is ready for use in a WLAN, such device range from desktop computers

WIRELESS ACCESS POINT Computer networking, a wireless access point is a device that allows wireless devices to connect to a wired network using WI-FI. Wireless network refers to any type of computer network that is not connected by cables of any kind.

What is WLAN? An interface card that is installed into an expansion slot on the computers motherboard.

Conclusion People are using WLAN now a das more than any other type of connection. WLAN is now made easier by only installing it in the plug of the electricity and it works by itself. We found that WLAN has several types but mostly people use the one type of it.
