My Auntie Louise My Auntie Louise lives in London, in an area called Walthamstow. She works on the London Underground.

My Auntie Louise works fixing trains and the tracks. The London Underground is a railway under the ground that people use to get around London. It is a quick and easy way to travel, the trains on the underground are called Tubes. London underground first opened January 10th 1863. There are 270 Underground stations. 4.8 Million people use the underground everyday. The total length of the underground railway is 250 miles. My Auntie Louise works fixing trains and the tracks.

My Picture Today I have brought in a picture of my name that my Auntie Louise made for me for my second birthday. Each photograph is a letter of my name that was taken by my Auntie Louise in and around London.

My Picture Letter L The L taken from a Banner on the side of a big red bus, which are are famous in London. These buses take people all around the city to see all the different sights.

My Picture Letter O The Letter O in my picture is a photo of a big wheel which is also know as the London Eye. The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel. It was put up in 1999, and has the highest view in London. It has 32 pods, each one can fit up to 25 people in it. It is 443 feet tall.

My Picture Letter U The letter U was taken from a restaurant in London called ITSU. There are 50 ITSU restaurants in London, 9 million people eat at ITSU every year, Food you can eat at ITSU include chicken noodle soup, brown rice and sushi. My Auntie Louise likes to eat at ITSU.

My Picture Letter I The letter I is a picture of an old fashioned red telephone box. People used to ring each other from these phone boxes before mobile phones were invented.

My Picture Letter E The letter E is taken from an old fashioned police box just like in the one in Docter Who. Tv show doctor who. Police boxes have phones in them which are used to ring the police. There are only 8 police boxes left in London now, as most people use their mobile phones.
