4.1. Create a New Presentation File File → New → Presentation or press Ctrl+N Choose Empty Presentation → Create

4.2. Save a Presentation File Select File → Save Select a Folder to Save File File Name: MyHobbies Save as Type: ODF Presentation (.odp)‏ Click Save button

4.3. Input Raw Data 4.3.1. Add a New Slide 4.3.2. Apply Slide Layouts 4.3.3. Modify the Layout for First Slide 4.3.4. Input the Contents

4.3.1. Add a New Slide Right-click on the Slides Pane → New Slide

4.3.2. Apply Slide Layouts If necessary, Click on the View → Tasks Pane to open the Tasks pane. Slide Layout for the First Slide: Title Slide Slide Layout for the remaining Slides: Title, Text

4.3.3. Modify the Layout for First Slide Resize the “Click to add text” area. Select the “Click to add Title” area Drag and drop the Layout to centre of the slide. The result should be the same to the picture

4.3.4. Input the Contents Click on the “Click to Add Text” Area Type Contents of each Slide.

4.4. Apply Slide Design 4.4.1. Load Slide Designs 4.4.2. Select a Slide Design

4.4.1. Load Slide Designs Select Format → Slide Design → Load. Under Categories, select a slide design category. Under Templates, select a template. Click OK.

4.4.2. Select a Slide Design Select a Slide Design Check Exchange background page to apply the slide design to all of the slides in your presentation Check Exchange background page to apply the slide design to the current slide only

4.5. View Slides 4.5.1. Use Slide Show 4.5.2. Use Normal View 4.5.3. Use Outline View 4.5.4. Use Notes Page View 4.5.5. Use Handout Page View 4.5.6. Use Slide Sorter View Defines the special effect that plays when you display a slide during a slide show.

4.5.1. Use Slide Show View To view the slide with full screen option Click View → Slide Show

4.5.2. Use Normal View Use Normal View to create and edit slides. To switch to normal view, choose View → Normal

4.5.3. Use Outline View Outline view where you can reorder slides and edit slide titles and headings. To switch to Outline view, choose View - Outline

4.5.4. Use Notes Page View To switch to Notes Page, Choose View → Notes Page

4.5.5. Use Handout Page View The handout master page, where you can scale several slides to fit on one printed page. To switch to Handout page, Choose View - Handout Page

4.5.6. Use Slide Sorter View To display miniature versions of the slides. To switch to Slide Sorter View, choose View - Slide Sorter.
