AT SAES we will… San Antonio Elementary School will provide a quality, enriched education with high expectations of success for ALL in a safe, positive, and motivating environment.

Title I status… The 2017-2018 school year is the first year SAES has been designated a Title I school. This means that more than 60% of our students receive free and reduced lunch.

Our Title I status has afforded us… A part time coach to support our English Language Learning students A full time Cambridge Coach, Title I pays for half Intervention materials for foundational skills for grades K-2 Subscription to Brain Pop video resources for classrooms School wide student assembly Supplies for upcoming parent nights Brochures for our parent resource center area in front office But with this money comes some requirements…

Home and School Compact

Highly Qualified Teachers Title I requires all instructional staff be highly qualified. All full time teachers are highly qualified. One teacher is on leave for quarter 1, and her classroom is staffed by a substitute teacher at this time. While we have every confidence in the substitutes ability, we are actively searching for a certified mini contract teacher to fill this position.
