Histology images (A–C) and TUNEL staining (E–G) in C57BL/6J eyes that were either naive (A, E), exposed to the “Light-only” FCD-LIRD protocol (30 minutes of 125 K lux of white light; [B, F]), or exposed to the fluorescein-assisted protocol (“Fl-4@10”; 2 mg of fluorescein followed 10 minutes later by 54 K lux; [C, G]). Eyes for histology were collected 21 days after treatment. Eyes for TUNEL staining were collected 3 days after treatment.
