Just Planting The Bulbs Is Not Enough To Create A Nice Garden Just Planting The Bulbs Is Not Enough To Create A Nice Garden. You Will Have To Put Lots Of Effort To Take Care Of Bulbs

So lets Have A Look At How To Take Proper Care Of Your Flower Bulbs

Step 1 Watering The Plants: 1) Add about 1 more inch of water every week after the plant starts flowering if the rainfall is not adequate enough in your area. 2) Don't shallow water as the plant may be planted pretty deep and the water needs to soak through to the roots.

Step 2 Remove Foliage: 1) Foliage is leftover from the bloom and is not a pretty sight. You should refrain form it and only cut away the foliage when it has dried up . 2) Foliage on smaller bulbs will not take long to dry(like in the case of Snowdrops or Squill) but larger bulb's (like Tulips) foliage will take a long time to dry out.

Provide Support To The Bulbs: Step 3 Provide Support To The Bulbs: 1) Some summer bulbs have weak stems and cannot support themselves. 2) Usually a ring around the stems gives them enough support or you may plant a stake during planting taking care not to damage the bulb

Step 4 Cover The Flowerbed: 1) Cover it with Mulch. It helps retain the moisture of the bed and also cools the plants if there is too much heat. 2) Early blooming bulbs need not be mulched.

Step 5 Uproot A Bulb: 1) You should uproot a bulb and store it away to protect it from frost and replant it when the weather is adequate. 2)You can store the bulbs in a cool and ventilated place and replant them in Fall. 3)This method prevents overcrowding by spreading the bulbs.

Protect From Bugs And Diseases: Step 6 Protect From Bugs And Diseases: 1) In the soil or anywhere on the plant, check to see if there are any bugs or diseases. 2) Do some research on the internet about how to kill them. There is a high chance that beetle larvae might exist in the soil because of the huge roots.

This Is How You Can Take Proper Care Of Your Bulbs And Make Your Garden Look More Beautiful And Attractive.
