The WGTA Convergence Centre: Mississauga Technology BusinessAccelerator (MTBA) The MTBA is a not-for-profit organization whose mandate is to: Assist technology companies to accelerate their growth, and greatly improve their speed of development and chances for long-term success Serve as the focus for networking and outreach activities that support commercialization Smart Growth - Research and People Partnering and alignment for development of scientific research and academic programming by academic (university and college) and community hospitals; e.g. new UofT medical academy, joint funding proposals for research and commercialization services.

The WGTA Convergence Centre: Healthy City Stewardship Centre Based on the Mississauga-World Health Organization “Healthy City” program, and will operate to assist in further development of local social, educational, recreational and employment/volunteer opportunities and services (recruitment, retention, international exposure).
