ASLP Objective To provide a 3-week college like residential experience that emphasizes leadership development and project oriented instruction in STEM areas and the humanities for high achieving students from the Cape Cod Collaborative member districts.

Selection of Students The top 15% of standardized testing were invited to apply for ASLP. 32 students will be chosen to represent Barnstable based on: History of academic achievement Interest in subject area to be pursued Current teacher recommendations (2)

Application Process – Check List Read Packet & Catalogue 1st Draft Current Teacher Recommendations – Kindly and clearly request – “practicing professional” Forms are submitted by teacher to Barnstable Gateway Office Complete Teacher Recommendation Record Final Draft – Criteria: Hand written in ink (not typed) Neat Seriousness of purpose and interest in the subject matter to be pursued Within the space allotted
