Stink and the World’s Worst Super Stinky Sneakers by Megan McDonald Erchina

Setting Characters In rooms At home At the contest Sophie and Webster are good friends to Stink. Webster Judy Stink Sophie Judy’s mom and dad I like Sophie because she is smart at school. She reminds me of myself.

Sophie Sophie wears glasses. Sophie has short hair. Sophie enters the contest. Sophie was proud when she won the golden clothespin award. Sophie is nice to everybody. Sophie is a good friend to Webster and Stink. Sophie cares a lot when she’s at school. When some ones hurt she helps them up. Sophie is smart at school. Sophie is sometimes shy when she meets new people. Sophie is proud everywhere.

Author’s Message The problem in the story is when Stink didn’t know either to be a judge or enter the contest. Instead of entering the contest he was a judge because his sister told him that it was cheating. Stink learned never to cheat. I learned never to cheat too.

Book Recommendations The book I read was Stink and the World’s Worst Super Stinky Sneakers by Megan McDonald. It is a realistic fiction book. It is about a boy who enters a contest. I think everybody else would like it because it is about a boy who doesn’t win the contest. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Connections Text to self = Stink has two best friends. I have two best friends too. Text to self = Stink got laughed at when his sister sang a funny song about him. I got laughed at when I just came to America. Text to self = Stink went on a field trip to the museum. I went on a fieldtrip in 2nd grade to the zoo.
