Presentation transcript:

Assessments: Game Design Outcome 1 Task 1(a) Produce a short report comparing hardware specifications of two gaming platforms. Accurately identify by type, name, processor, memory, graphics configuration, backing storage capacity, whether wired or wireless, sound quality and internet connectivity. Complete the following table with the details of two different gaming platforms.

Two Gaming Platforms – List Specifications for each using framework below. You may recreate this table in a word doc if you wish. Using the information from the completed table, write some points about each, comparing the hardware specifications of the two gaming platforms. Platform 1 Platform 2 Name Type Processor Memory (RAM) Graphics Configuration Backing Storage Capacity Wired/Wireless Sound Quality Internet Connectivity

Outcome 1 Task 1(b) Produce a short report accurately comparing TWO control and TWO output devices of two gaming platforms. You must cover: Name Platform Written Section/Description (style, purpose, connection, benefits, advantages, disadvantages)

GAMING PC’s Source two gaming PC’s and list the full spec (similar to what you did when researching the two consoles/gaming platforms). Always state your sources (web address/magazine sourced from) After listing the full spec for the gaming pc’s, write a comparison of each, suggesting the pros and cons of each (e.g. cost, size, colour, storage, processing power, memory, graphics card, peripherals/accessories etc.)
