As part of this function the Multi Professional Education and Training (MPET) funding is then allocated to the Local Education and Training Boards (LETBs) who in turn then allocate across their systems. For our region Health Education East of England then distributes the funding across the four workforce partnerships. Norfolk and Suffolk Cambridge and Peterborough Herts and Beds and Essex. Currently each workforce then assigns the money to the practice placement providers within their locality based on the submitted workforce plans . The Education Lead for practice placement providers are then the accountable person for ensuring the appropriate utilisation of these finds.
