The Bully

Victims By now the costs and consequences of bullying are well known. Great deal of attention focused on assisting and empowering victims. Supporting victims is an important part of any anti-bullying campaign.

The Bully What about the Bully? All to often we simply dichotomize and demonize. So how should we deal with bullies?

Discussion Questions Should we focus on? Punishment? Intervention? Deterrence? Prevention?

Discussion Questions Are there strategies that Support and don’t minimize victims? Do not undercut anti-bullying initiatives? Increase empathy and compassion? Rehabilitate? Address underlying issues? Balance punishment with support?
