ROUTEWISE BENEFITS Three underserved Airports is Assam viz Tezpur, Lilabari and Jorhat are identified under RCS. Guwahati- Lilabari route will benefit passengers of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh since Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh is nearby. It will cater the needs of the people of three Districts of Assam, including Majuli which attracts many International/Domestic tourists being the largest river island in the world. Guwahati – Tezpur will benefit both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Facilitate easy accessibility to the tourist destinations of Arunachal Pradesh like Tawang, Bomdila and tea tourism destinations.

Guwahati – Jorhat route will benefit air passengers of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland. Nearest to Kaziranga National Park and other tourist destinations and wildlifr sanctuaries and tourism destinations.

AIRPORT BENEFITS Appropriate infrastructure already available in the three airports i.e Lilabari, Tezpur and Jorhat Provisions of essential services like water/electricity approach road exist in all the three airports.
