Tina, the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen, has stolen Kevin’s heart, although she's oblivious to the effect she has on him. The situation isn’t helped by the fact that hunky new student, Cash, appears to be joined firmly to her side. Rather than reveal his feelings outright, Kevin decides it’s safer to first make a scientific study of just how love works by setting up romantic opportunities for his victims (otherwise known as study subjects). Will Kevin gather enough information in his studies to create the perfect first date, or is this romance doomed before it even begins?

Back Story Kevin (Dutchdeefuddy): Protagonist, 14 years old. Auntie Buzz: Kevin’s aunt, lives above the garage. Markie: Pre-school neighbor that Kevin babysits. While babysitting Markie, Kevin is visiting his divorced aunt, in hopes of getting scientific knowledge about how to ask a girl out and maintain a romantic relationship. Excerpts: CH3; p.34, 37, 42
