Animal neighbors Barns have a lot of other animals living in them. Not just horses. A few are cows , chickens , and pigs.

The color You would usually would say that barns are red , but actually they can be brown and even gray. But you would usually see them as red.

There are a lot of animals like the ones listed above plus much more! The animals on the farm Pigs cows horses ducks chickens goats dogs cats chicks There are a lot of animals like the ones listed above plus much more!

Knock knock ! Who’s there Animals!

The farmer The farmer is in charge of the farm. They feed the animals , they also make sure the animals are healthy and growing. Farmers can be boys and girls, they also have a big responsibility to care for the animals and treat them nicely.

The farmer’s house The farmer lives in a house near the barn

Hay is for horses Horses eat about 4 flakes a day. That is a lot of hay. That’s way more food then what you and I would usually eat per day.
