About Omi Growing up he loved listening to hip-hop His passion of music came from his father that passed away when he was only 9 years old. He was influenced by many people; Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, John Legend, and Tanya Stephens He started in the music industry in 2009, and his first hit single “Cheerleader” took 5 years to make an actual song. His songs are now Urban pop, and he likes to include “beachy” and “summertime” vibes He currently lives in Kingston, Jamaica and he is from Clarendon, Jamaica
