Just One Word Goal Setting

Just One word Choose the type of person you want to become at the end of the school year. Select “Just one word” that reflects one of the qualities of that person.

Just one word Some Possible Inspirational Words GRATEFUL MOVE PEACE INTENTIONAL BALANCE SURRENDER FAITHFUL DISCIPLINED STRENGTH PRESENT COURAGE ABIDE CONTENTMENT SEEK PERSEVERE GROWTH FEARLESS GRATITUDE TRUST HEALTHY PURPOSE LISTEN PATIENCE RELEASE DISCIPLINE FREEDOM POSITIVE BRAVE HOPE CONSISTENT BOLD BELIEVE SIMPLIFY CHANGE FOCUS ENOUGH RESTORE GRACE LOVE JOY CONFIDENCE

Just One word Step One: Decide on the type of person you want to become at the end of this year. Go beyond the exterior; think in your heart. You will focus on this word all year long.

Just One word Step Two: Brainstorm the qualities of that person. Is that person gentle or patient?

Just One word Step Three: Once you have a list of qualities, choose just one word. Don’t try to focus on all of the characteristics. Simple commit to just one word

Create a Poster Directions: Just One word Create a Poster Directions: Front: 1. With your copy paper turned portrait-style, creatively write your word. (bubble letters, graffiti, words that form pictures, etc. ) 2. Include the title “Just One Word” and your name on the front. 3. Back: In one sentence, describe the person you want to be at the end of the year. Be sure to explain how your word connects to this “person.”
