Proof from lesson كان له صوت جميل عند قراء القران حتي قال عنه الرسؤل لقد اوتي مزمار امن مزامير داوود وكان يحب ان يستمع الي تلاوة القرآن من عبد الله بن مسعود The Prophet(pbuh) had great respect for Abdullah for many reasons including his great recitation. Abdullah was gifted with one of the voices from Prophet Dawud (as). The Prophet loved to listen to Abdullah recite the Quran.

Supporting Hadith النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : "حقا ، الله يرفع بعض الناس مع هذا القرآن ويهين الآخرين«. 996. `Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Verily, Allah elevates some people with this Qur'an and abases others.'' [Muslim]. This hadith teaches one that learning how to properly read the Quran is something that should be sought after.

Relation to the lesson The past hadith goes to show that learning to read the Quran properly is a great skill. Abdullah bin Masood’s reputation was always high in the Prophets eyes. The reason that Abdullah had a beautiful voice was because of the practice he placed into reciting.
