Administrator Technology Toolkit An online tool to support school administrators as they: acquire and maintain the skills necessary to be technology literate and meet the Maryland Technology Literacy Standards for School Administrators. Developed by MSET and MSDE

Technology Standards Facilitated Discussion Small groups assigned one of six NETS-A standards to facilitate Group prepared guided discussion questions Group assigned brief activity (from toolkit) for class to complete during discussion to better understand the standard Discussion lasted approximately 30-45 minutes for each standard
Positive Aspects of Toolkit Navigation bar for standards Getting Around the Toolkit Pre and Post Assessment for PD Video intro. for each standard Useful weblinks and articles Practical application of standards Content to also share with teachers
Improvements Needed Summary/Overview of entire toolkit needed Screencast tour? Need annotations for HOW to use the toolkit Need arrow to move BACK in toolkit (only have NEXT arrows) Guest Access doesn’t let you participate in discussion forums Promote the discussion boards more Make Resources Page more prominent with visible link on each page since explains how to use toolkit Make sure all weblinks have descriptions of what they are Keep list of links to other sections visible on every page so it is easier to navigate More text features (bold, color, graphic cues) to make more engaging
