Objective: To make pupil aware about the importance of conservation of water Method of teaching: Gallery walk method Aims: The students learn in a nice and interesting way about the effects of wasting water. And also about the importance of conservation of water.
The teacher puts up pictures of how the world will be in the year 2070, on different walls in the class. She then divides the class into various groups, and gives them a worksheet to fill in. Each group has a leader who fills the worksheet on behalf of the whole group
The children walk around the class and watch the pictures carefully, and then answer the questions in the paper. Children enjoy the new activity and attractive pictures put up on the walls. After the activity the teacher and students discuss about how they would try their bit to conserve water.
