General Information 25 Children in the class: 18 girls and 7 boys TA- Mrs Cowan - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Mornings Miss Green - Music Teacher - Thursday afternoon Miss Santos - Spanish Teacher – Thursday morning Premier Sport – P.E. – Thursday afternoon P.E. with me - Friday morning Paint shirt, if possible for Art

Reading Guided reading group will look at various text types and focus on comprehension style questions Visit Library once a week Read 4 times a week at home, record using reading record Please sign the reading record

Spellings Spelling test each week on a Wednesday - to be practiced at home Spellings will be taught during SPAG time at the start of Literacy lessons There may be other spellings given out during the term. E.G. relevant Topic words or spelling rules we need to work on

Big Write Each Friday children will do an independent piece of writing linked to a particular genre - stories, poems, letters, diaries, non-fiction texts, etc

Homework Reading every day or at least 4 times a week Practise spellings for weekly spelling test on Wednesday Times Tables – Tested every Friday Pick and mix – once every half term. It will be given this Friday.
