Questions Asked What is your gender? What is your college major? In which region of the United States do you live? How religious do you consider yourself? How spiritual do you consider yourself? Have you ever had a ghostly encounter?

Analysis - College Majors Wide Range of Majors Kenesiology, Engineering, English, Biology, etc. Absolutely no true correlation Both Biology majors had completely different stances Science majors who were not religious - but superstitious

Analysis - Gender Indifferency No men reported having an encounter 5 out of 8 men said they were indifferent about ghosts Only 9 said this overall No men reported having an encounter Only one said they would seek out a ghost Mirrors that women are more likely to seek out ghosts and report an encounter

Analysis - Religion 4 out of 9 people who said they had seen a ghost also said they were not at all religious Religion largely divorced from ghostly encounters Bible Belt - only one report BUT 11 out of 15 from this region say they believe in other entities

Analysis - Age Of description, 5 out of 10 said the incident occurred during childhood Most cited figures standing the in the bedroom Childhood homes Mostly under the age of 10
