IMPRESS Health 2 – Implementation phase The results from the initial research phase have influenced the interventions that have been designed. Two common themes were identified: Information is powerful Importance of educating Healthcare professionals

IMPRESS Health 2 – Implementation phase Design and test new interventions to improve rates of earlier HIV diagnosis in Kent, Medway and Picardy Public promotional campaign – posters, radio and social media Promote and increase availability of HIV testing clinics Educational programme of talks to healthcare professional teams Educational video on HIV testing HIV educational training pre and post evaluation* UK HIV testing week 23rd – 30th November 2014 World AIDS Day 1st December 2014 * where available

IMPRESS Health 2 Interventions - Summary IMPRESS Health 2 is European research project to reduce the rate of late HIV diagnosis in Kent, Medway & Picardy. The project has helped to highlight the importance of collaborative research and the sharing of best practice. The presentations that follow will illustrate the range of implementations developed from this project which have been tailored to local needs and requirements.
