The objective of The Power Series is to debate, challenge and push forward the conversation on the key structural, policy and regulatory issues facing the Australian electricity sector. Your participation is invited for the upcoming Sydney event over breakfast at 8.00 am Wednesday 16 March 2016. The debate topic will be “Energy Market Reform: Governance” Included in this discussion we will address themes such as: NEM Governance arrangements and institutional structures Retail competition and tariff reform National Competition Policy Reform requirements – what has been addressed and what is yet to be tackled External factors impacting the sector To enable a lively morning of discussion with your industry peers, we will provide: A briefing paper to you in early March on the topic including a summary of key issues Confirmation of the attendees for the breakfast which shall be drawn from a small select audience of industry leaders The opportunity for you to ask questions to the group anonymously ahead of the event. Once you have confirmed your reservation and wish to ask questions, our team will be in touch with you to discuss key questions for discussion on the day. These issues will then be asked of the group through the event’s host, allowing you as the author to remain anonymous. This will be an ‘in confidence’ event which will provide a fantastic opportunity for knowledge and perspective sharing and networking across the industry with the key decision makers in the sector.
